Word problems in Maths can be quite challenging. The key to conquering a word problem is to read the question properly so as to enable comprehension of what is required for you to solve and to get the information that has been provided to enable you to solve it. If it is a long sentence, or several sentences, break the sentences up into parts. Underline keywords in each part to help you understand what needs to be done.
